Election Week Fun: Part 2 :)

Here are more pictures of what happened during Election Week in The Doghouse. We used our Scholastic News as a resource for information about both of the Presidential candidates, and made Democrat/Republican flip books.  We also voted on who would be the best President: Grace for President, My Teacher for President, or Duck for President - based on the three picture books we read during the week. I am happy to say I won that election! Grace got a few votes, and Duck had one vote. Poor duck! :(  In other election news, Mr. Delzer's class demanded an "official vote" for the Mr. Delzer/Mrs. Delzer Presidential Race. I won that race by ONE vote. Woot woot! :) The best part was counting all the votes one by one, and making tally charts and bar graphs to show our data. We also answered questions about our data like: Who had the most votes? Who had the least votes? How many more votes did the winning candidate have than the losing candidate? Who was your favorite candidate?

I hope you are all having a fun weekend, and staying warm!! BRRR! I am snuggled up with my pups, drinking hot chocolate, and enjoying my Christmas decorations! :)

Your Election Winner,
Mrs. Delzer
